Gypsy’s careers began in 1976, working with pre-school children while earning a Certificate in Early Childhood Education through Camosun College. After having her own child, she went on to train as a Fitness Instructor and instructed all levels of fitness including Seniors and pre- and post-natal classes. Seven years after the birth of her second child, she retired from full-time instruction to be a stay-at-home mom; later she worked part-time in a local bakery thrift store and honed her retail and office management skills. More recently, she completed the Medical Office Assistant course and has been employed at Sooke Evergreen Physiotherapy since 2004.
Gypsy has many hobbies, including miniature horses, stained glass art, dancing, walking/hiking with her dog and ponies, and continued education in fitness (i.e., Stretch and Strength classes at the clinic).
