Roger graduated with a diploma in Physiotherapy from his homeland New Zealand in 1988, where he worked predominantly with a sports injury clientele.  Having moved to Canada in 1992, he continued his studies at the University of Alberta and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy degree.  He has worked since then primarily in an orthopedic setting, treating a cross-section of musculoskeletal injuries.

One area of special interest to him is lower extremity biomechanics.  He has been evaluating for, and prescribing casted orthotics for the last ten years.

Roger is married to Melanie and has a young daughter.  His other interests include hiking and photography.
